Firearm isn’t the problem

“Guns have become wicked” (Readers’ Forum, July 23), I had to hope he was writing tongue-in- cheek and not trying for serious journalism. I was given my first firearm in 1946, and over the years have used firearms for feeding my family, home protection and in recent years target shooting on a weekly basis for pleasure. If what he says is true, I do not dare go to my storage area for fear that the wicked steel now used in guns is just waiting for me to appear so that, all by itself, it can raise up and attack me.  the stupidity of some that use firearms inappropriately.
