Benelli’s new SuperSport competition shotgun boasts two new innovative features to improve barrel performance and lessen felt recoil. The new Comfor Tech stock system reduces felt recoil by as much as 43 percent, while the CrioBarrel and CrioChokes deliver over 13 percent more pellets on target. The Cryogenics technology employed in both new features involves treating the barrel and choke tubes with ultra cold temperatures of minus 300 degrees or less. Cryogenics avoids the stress put on the barrel and choke tubes by traditional hammer forging.
