Our children mean everything to us, they are the very heart of what we do. As an Orphanage, we prayerfully engage ourselves to bringing up Children primarily by sharing the great Love that God has for them. And also, by taking care of them by providing shelter, food and clothing, most importantly our emphasis on education. Even though they come from desperate situations, we treat them like family and see the beauty in each one of them. We're here to help them grow into amazing individuals, not just to give them food and clothes.
When Pastor Lawrence Surin saw children begging at traffic signals, picking garbage, or working in roadside stalls and garages, he realized they had no opportunity for education or hope for a better future. Recognizing the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty, he felt compelled to take action.
How it started?
Sahara Orphanage started with five children and no money. Pastor Lawrence Surin didn't know how to manage, but he felt he had to help. With help from the Holy Spirit, Pastor Surin and his team cared for the children, giving them food, clothes, and love. The children became like family. Pastor Surin's faith in God made him believe that anything was possible.

What We're Doing:
Many children are left with no place to turn, missing out on essential rights like education, healthcare, and shelter. They're often overlooked and neglected by society. Our aim is to offer these children shelter, protection, and top-notch education, guiding them toward promising futures as respected members of society. We have a long-term plan to educate and assist 10,000 children within 10 years, but we can't do it alone. We need your support to make this vision a reality.
